Dear Lover of God,

THE PURPOSE OF EXISTENCE
The purpose of existence is to continually dig deeper into the most important relationship in life, your relationship with your Creator.
“That’s obvious,” some say. But we all know those kind of people who miss opportunity after opportunity to go deeper because they are too busy, too skeptical, or too dry. They are trying to fix problems and complete tasks, not realizing if they just put this first, everything else will fall into place.
But how often we have planned to give the presence of the lord—some day—the priority He deserves. How many times have we thought to ourselves the great things we would do to grow deeper—when we get the time. But in the meantime, do we always take advantage of the simple things we can do to keep our friendship with God fresh?
Finally when we do have some free time we throw ourselves in front of the TV. Our lives begin to become like a runaway train that we are chasing down the track. This is living like Gentiles, as Jesus said. True and abundant life comes from seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness, then everything else is added to us.
